I have lots more vids of our adventures at Bathurst Hillclimb this year.
I will post them up one by one in the coming days.
This is one of myself off the start line in the rain on the Sunday which was Mountain Straight Hillclimb. It gives me goosebumps just watching how deep i go before braking into Griffins bend in the rain.

No mate not this weekend.
The next state round event will be 03/07/2011, allthough this may sound a little precious i will not be running unless there is a vast improvement in the track surface.
There was six cars hit the tyre wall last year causing a lot of damage as this is a fast sweeping right hander and the rocks were coming out of the bitumen.
If you run let us know how the surface was.

Cheers Col

Here is the famous dipper section of the track.
In the footage i have just changed down to third gear from a 4th gear approx 130k,s approach, before the left kink then up the dipper and around the left hander.
You can get a feel of how steep this section is, the car rises quickly out of the dipper and unloades the rear shocks so it,s a little hairey.
Heath data logged 93k,s through the dipper and as i was .24sec of his overall time i guess i,m doing the same, allthough it doesn,t look that fast trust me those walls move quickly.
Enough dribble enjoy!

Cheers Col

Hi Col
See what you mean about last corner. Only one car hit the wall this weekend and that was due to the wet track. Most of the loose stuff got torn off by the V8s. A local in his street SS commodore did a 28sec run. He got 2nd outright ahead of some specialized Hillclimb openwheelers and allwheeldrive Evos and WRXs. Took some footage of my third run but it started to rain when we were lined up so was a bit slippery again. Cheers Jukka http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=eXscjmTYvmE

I dont think that is a rev limiter.
Sounds more like float....must be like 9000!
