Love the old Isuzu (Holden Gemini coupes). My sister had one as her first car back in 1980.

Brings back memories :fakesniff:

If only I could put together a crash compilation of Huntley. Been some very expensive ones. I dont think there is a 5 metre stretch of track that hasnt bent a car. Even the gate to Don's Farm has been bent 90 degrees. Thats before you even get to the pit area!

Just watched the vid.
Thanks for putting it up Craig.
Those front wheel drive cars behave very badly when pushed hard around a corner, thank goodness the Beetle is rear wheel drive!

Cheers Col

Yes indeed!
Here's a video of those incredibly stable rear-wheel-drive cars; notice how they are especially stable when sliding along on their roofs...

Your comparison is so accurate.
Late model fully preped race cars on slicks as opposed to early model standard cars on cheese cutters!

wow! love how they get out of the car... or thrown out in a couple of instances... in their street gear and dress shoes. no helemts. nothing. they could just dust themselves down and then head off for a quiet drink.

they certainly built the cars strong enough for a roll though. not sure about hte single ltach doors opening.

what was all the gear being flung out of the windows? was this like a weekend event thing or something?

the front-wheel-drive cars that step out of shape are """usually""" caused by people who are so used to driving rear-wheel-drive cars & they havn`t turned the switch over in their brain to realise that if you back-off in a front drive car around a corner, the bum will step out,,, the trick is to keep the throttle buried

love the vids tho, awsome!!!
