Just about ready dialed in new waste gate on dyno yesterday all working well 25lbs boost and holding, 244atw thanks Boris for the Turbosmart 35mm gate and GCGs for freshening up the gtr28, and thanks to Adam at Just Engine Management for the tune as usual its safe and plenty of power,any one else going down for a run,dont forget to take ur long johns gets a bit cold down there in the mornings.Cheers Rudi
Great day 0 degrees in the morning but clear skys and no wind car ran well first run in the morning was a 1m07 great way to start the day ,got out of the car after the run and was crook as,culprit was exaust fumes coming through the rear firewall,next run droped the time down into the 1m06s in plenty of traffic and ran a best of 1m066 for the day,car waseasy to drive but still abit laggy under 4000 rpm,ran 15th outrite on the day and4th in class ,about 6cars only tenths apart great close competition this year unfortunatly not a watercooled vw in sight i guess they were all at crispy kremes . Thanks again to Brian and Norm for their help on the day,Dont forget the clubveedub nationals super sprint is on the 21st of may get your entries in so we can organise the event asthere is quite a bit to do see u at the track cheers Rudi ps just correct me if im wrong????
