I am modifying a 71 superbug for historic sprints. I have just finished putting on wider guards by SHERMAN (for cosmetic reasons) and now want to put on wider rims. I was thinking of Superlites 15x7, but would be interested in advice and/or purchasing suitable used rims if there are any for sale. I have been reading this forum for a while and it appears VW owners are hoarders. Thanks.

Go to the for sales section and post a WTB add.

Check also if there are any limits on the rims for historic sprints; as 7 may be too wide.

Thanks for your reply. I am intending to put a WTB post in. I was just waiting for some feedback or advice. The rim size should be alright for the events/class I enter. I currently run a TR8 which is far from standard. I hope my first post didn't come accross as insulting (the hoarder comment). It was meant to be witty. I was expecting a few more replies.
