At the moment, I am getting all the parts together for the next round of upgrades for the beetle.

Any recomendations for the best flowing exhaust for a 1915/2000 cc motor? It needs to be the best flowing while still meeting the 92 db noise regs for places like mount cotton.

Volks.com.au, have the A sidewinder pretty cheap, and was thinking about getting one? My current (empi?) 1 5/8 inch full merged with fat boy is getting a little old in the teeth and doesn't meet the noise requirements.

Engine is a 72mm by 94mm motor (2L), wedge ports, 48's and 130 Engle cam and 1.25 rockers. Redlines at about 6500 rpm max.

Keep your exhaust and when you go to your next event just take a large hose clamp and small piece of pipe and clamp the pipe piece on your tip facing the opposite direction to the noise level meter. Problem fixed, cost zero.
