I have a raqce enginering article on this car. Will dig it out.

They found the narrow front end worked, but it was a very different suspension setup in terms of springs and roll bars etc.

Yeah, it's totally counter intuitive to most cars. All the roll control is at the back of the car. The front has "mountain bike" springs and shocks.

If you're going to follow the suspension tuning logic of the Delta Wing on a bug, then I think you would need 10" wide tyres at the back, and probably move the fuel tank to the back as well to get weight off the front end. It is nice to see someone trying something genuinely different though.
