Im being a big tightass but im after a 9000rpm chip. i dont want to buy 5 just to get 1. If anyone has a spare one ill buy it. cheers

It's just a resistor, 8.18K for 9000 apparently.

Or get a 10k pot and we'll make a variable one but fixed is safer in case it gets bumped. Use the variable for the two step.

About a minutes work with a soldering iron to stick some pins on a variable or normal resistor from jaycar. I'll knock one up if daves gets lost in the post.
