On behalf of the VW Drag Racing collective I would like to wish Dave Stoker a speedy recovery.

Dave was rushed to hospital yesterday and has undergone surgery. As I understand Dave was scheduled for a Heart stent in 3 weeks time. Last night they undertook the 'graft' and he has been given the thumbs up.

All going well he will be back at the track soon as grumpy as ever!

Dave get well soon and...be kind to the hospital staff, they are trying their best.

Lorraine we are thinking of you as well - Enjoy your holiday!

Spoke with Loraine this afternoon she wishes to pass on that Dave is doing well and dosing himself up with the pain killers.

He is still being watch very closely as we would all hope given the nature of his hospitalization.

All going well Loraine will be giving us the green light to give him heaps at the Hospital tomorrow afternoon.

Glad to hear all went well mate, you defiantly found the way to jump the queue on that operation hopefully those Doctors didn't mess anything up in there, some of the guy's up at Warwick wouldn't know how to take you if you didn't have your usual happy attitude.

Best wishes for a speedy recovery from my wife Susan and myself , having been there ( heart attack) we completely understand. If they have a heart rehab program there I would definately particapate , helped us . Mike McCarthy

Dave that is great news! It is also great to see that your near death experience has not affected you.
We really didn't want to see you become a soft and sensitive type! What a frightfull thought!
It's good to have the original Dave back, even with some new plumbing.
