at WSID now with Chris Boltons' turbo drag bug.
Chris has had 1 run but fluffed the start when his foot slipped from the clutch pedal when preparing for launch ..... revs went way too low and engine
nearly stalled . He managed to get it away again and made a pass of 12.6@138mph
On the incar footage the tacho shows 7500rpm in 4th gear across the line and we have his rev limiter set at 7500rpm . Ben Ford is adjusting the
rev-limiter to 8000rpm & Chris is going for another run .....
Nice mph!

no last run for Chris Bolton this afternoon ..... we waited in the staging lanes for over an hour while the officials cleaned up the oil & mess
from some clown that came out in a Wild Bunch Ford F100 and had decided to remove his wheelie bars (we assume for a great photo opportunity) .... it
done a huge wheelstand & came crashing to the track surface really hard .
When racing resumed a Mazda rotary powered drag car crashed hitting the wall quite hard in the top-end . After they cleaned up this mess there was
another oil down on the track just 2 cars later ..... We decided to pack up and head home to Wollongong . Chris missed out on getting his 9sec pass
today by just 0.02sec ..... so close yet so far !!

Had luck on your fourth run Chris but sound like you have the same trouble as me getting off the line.ii'm sure the 9 second pass is just around the
corner.
I'm hoping to run in the next track round on the 17th Aug as long as my knee recovers from the operation last wednesday,yeap more physo more
physo.
