Who's running at the round 6 track champs at WSID.on the 17th Aug. Entrys close Monday night so lets hope we have a good selection of vw's once again.My knee is all good after the op so I'm in for the run.See you all there:

I will be there with the Ghia.

With a few changes to help in the 60 I am hoping to convert the 155 MPH runs from last track champs to something better than the 9.5's.

Weather permitting it will be a great day. With a good showing of Volkswagen's we should get a tear or two from Henry again. !!

Heard the LMS bug (Dave Stocker and Mike Waldron) had a good day!
First run 10.4 @ 140, second run 9.90 @ 144.
The new shifter worked a treat. Looking forward to Warwick!

11.1? shift problems

10.8 ran nice n straight

didn't break anything had a great day

Picking up 2 tenths on the 60' without any changes from the previous meeting, best 60' was a 1.73 (and only 2 qualifyers) as well as breaking a heim joint on the accelerator linkage (2nd qualifier) and a mysterious loss of drive in top gear (in the 1st round) for me is an off day!!!!!
To finish it off, realising Warwick and Track Champs #8 are on the same weekend

Sorry for the delay in posting results from the weekend, good old internet outage hope you will forgive me Peter Paige !!!.

Mother nature was definitely on our side. What a top day.

The Ghia had a great day with 3 runs in the 9,s and a PB of 9.4 @ 150 running 20lbs of boost.

New set of slicks and the changes to the car have made it come out of the whole harder and as straight as an arrow.

All the data collected from the weekend will result in a few changes to the cam then time to start upping the boost.

Big congrats to Dave and Mike for getting back into the 9,s (Man I Miss My Blowers ).
