Where's your engine Dave??
In a million pieces on the floor!
Out for inspection and some oiling mods so I can go back to my ACE20 oil.
Not VW but my buddy has entered and was looking forward to saying hello to some of the vw regulars he has met over the years. He doesn't have a big
crew behind him and is totally approachable so don't be afraid to stop and say "g'day Phil"

His little Honda is wicked as!!
Is Wally in?
I'm in, going to enter as soon as I've been on the Dyno...
Daimo the Honda s600 is one of the best presented cars and is one of my all time favourites!!

I have entered today, my car is in many pieces but when has it ever been together 2 weeks out from a meet? Lol

One more sleep until Jambo.
This year Dave Butler and myself are racing All Motor (AM) and Dave Richardson (Turbo buggy) and Wally Penboss (turbo beetle) are racing in Modified
Compact (MC).
Good luck to all and safe racing. Stay tuned for results. We'll post results here (and VW Drag Racing Australia on FB)

My best for the day. Everybody went well but also had their share of issues but will let them comment.
Did dangerous get a run in today?
Yes...10.95 from memory not sure on the MPH. Was a good run following early dramas...damn electronicals.
Sounds like an eventful but good day by most.....
Dave did a 10.81 at 124mph, Wally ran a 10.23 at 142.5mph after push rod damage and red light in first round, Dave's buggy went a few rounds with a best of 11.1 I think with a back off to avoid break out with a dial in of 10.99, pretty good day
Dave r ended up with a 10.99 on a 10.85 dial in but lost the race. Both driver and car had issues over the weekend but both were back on song by the end of the day! Track prep was so good the car bogged down bad on launch if there wasn't enough boost. Big learning curve with all the issues but I'll let Dave fill it all in as he could probably explain it better!
