As the title says I took the hillclimb bug to the drags last night after completing a few changes. I was pretty impressed with how it all went. One
thing I discovered is, if I really want to run at the drags then I will need taller gearing. The short ratios are good for the hillclimb track but
I'm pretty much maxed out in speed at the 350m mark.
Best run 13.37 @ 96.73mph.
60 foot: 1.8
1/8th: 8.39 @ 80.10mph
1000foot: 11.0
Here is my 1st run.

Heaps of wheel spin and bouncing off the re limiter on the start. Still managed to pull 13.7 with a 2.1 60footer. Dumb ar$e me forgot to let the tyre
pressure down from 30psi from when I last competed at King Edward Park Hillclimb, so I gradually let pressure out of them for the nxt few runs to see
what worked, times eventually improved. The 50 series track rubber is not the best for launching.
2nd run. Same thing. Bounced off the rev limited off the start and when I changed into 2nd. Still managed a 13.7. Let some more psi out of the tyres
and have another crack. Oh yeah, May be a few less revs...
