Spoke to Adam Debiasi on Sunday at the Melbourne VW Show.

He bought his green street turbo beetle over from Adelaide and raced it at a muscle car shootout on Saturday.

The temp was up close to 40 while he was racing.

11.89 @114mph on Street tyres.
11.80 @114mph on Slicks.

I could be wrong, but I thought he's run an 11.2 already.

I saw some pics of the run, nice 3 foot 1st gear wheelie, like right through 1st gear.

This is the first time he has run into the 11's, and it is a genuine street driven car too.

He also uses it for hill climbs.
A magazine wrote that he does 11.2...They meant to write
12.2.That was a while ago.
Best part about adam is he isnt afraid to take a car that he has built,and go n give it s$#t on the track or street,

He was at the nationals this year, I think he only managed to get one or two runs and only got about a 13sec pass???

ijust got some footage of my car it was pulling the front wheels in the air so much it was dragging the tramp bar
caring them almost to the 60 foot mark
one run it pulled them in second gear(0nly maybe 20mm)

Pitty I'll never get to race it, heard he's pulled the car down to use in another type of competition. I was hoping to give it a run in my 54 but I'm sure he will do something else.
He seems to never turn up in the same car twice!!!

yeah im running at 4 6 rotor nats in the brown 57
also bringing this car to vw nats in easter along with my sisters glass buggy the green cars a bare shell at the moment still the 57 runs mid 12s

change of plans i cant run at 4 6 rotor nats as im doing a few more moods to the car to get ready for easter will be out watching say hi if you see me tom how lives in mt gambier so cant run this weekend still runnig easter though
