Old Man's Thoughts
HS618 - March 16th, 2005 at 10:05 PM

For many years I have been involved in Drag Racing. I've seen a lot, heard a lot and done a little as well.
As you get older, feel the need to share your experiences with the next generation.

What I would like to do in future forums, is pass on a an experience for your thought or comment.

The first one is dear to my heart and comes about from "enthusiasts" at drags bragging about how fast their car is. But when you quiz them as to what times have they have run, they say "It should be able to run 11's, 12's, 13's etc. (insert the quickest time that sounds credible)

So my first shared experience comes as a one liner -
"Only the time you run and the timeslip you recieve are worth bragging about"

Nice, but don't give to much away.

And now that you've joined the forum, be prepared, its wild and will make you cringe at times.
