Its all ready to go Craig, just need to "finance" some tyres. Boy it sounds good! Hmmm, what can I sell to buy some food?!

Craig Paton - April 17th, 2005 at 07:56 AM

Finance! I can help you in that area! Might use some equity in your home, or maybe get you into a better home loan!!!!:thumb

You'll have to let us know when your rracing your n/a drag bug!
When do you think that will be? And roughly what times are you looking for?

The end of June is D-day as far as the n/a deal is concerned, Craig. Without knowing the weight, ( I would guess between 1800lbs & 1900lbs, & HP between 250 & 270.....hopefully mid elevens @ 120. I purposely want to stay in superstreet for now...thus, the steel wheels & glass windows replaced the aluminium & Lexan respectively. Oh yeah, front brakes are refitted.

I can't wait to hear Stan's old engine with a stinger!!
Should sound nice at 8500-9000 RPM!!!!!!!!!!!!!

It will also be great to see an experienced campaigner back on the track! ;)

Initially I want to keep the RPM down to 7000. Despite this the rest of the engine is designed to sustain 8500 if required. That means valve springs & rod bolts that are up to the job. Springs are 1.56" diameter Isky Gold stripe, & rod bolts are L19 ARP material. The ehhaust is 2" , with a short piece of 3" on the end instead of the conventional stinger...it realy sounds something else!
