Wayne, who usually drive sthe Vingtage drag car drove my Speedster and did a 14.4s I think it was.......only about a second faster than my best.....so that's the last time he gets behind the wheel:repuke

My collection of VW/Subi parts best time was 12.1s, also with someone else driving......I'm begining to get a complex...

For my first time out at the drags I had a ball, but discovered a few issues that need sorting to run some better times... like my ability to concentrate on the tree; first run I was so busy looking at the staging lights and wondering how they worked I ignored the green light for a second and a half :thumb

and putting the power down is not as easy as just dropping the clutch either; my bro videoed my first run and it looks like i'm not even moving for the first couple of seconds. shite.
checklist:
tyres (woeful)
nitrous (needs some serious sorting out- massive lean out at 4-5k)
gearing: 4th gear is a waste of time (literally)
ability (sadly lacking, but I blame lack of experience :thumb)

beautiful weather tho, and some nice eyecandy between runs.
