I will be running my car in All Motor if all goes well on Sat night T&T.
I was one of the original club members to organize the original Jamboree way back in 1991 (March).
Ray Box, Peter Page,& Mark Stanbury all contributed and still do to this day.

When it is on? I don't think I'll be racing but would be keen to go.

Thanks Dave - great to see you running some promising times on the track.

The 2L crank/rods/flywheel etc you guys balanced way back revs super smoothly - just have to sort the tuning out - do you know any competent people who have experience with the dual carbs and vw engines (dyno etc)?

Sorry to get the thread off track.

Today I finished getting my car ready for the Jamboree
on next weekend.
Oil changed, tappets done, springs checked, fuel system leaned off and I fitted an independant shift lite with chips instead if the nob in the tach.(more accurate)
I also got a sheet of Lexan and made up some windows to save about 10kg......Yeeehaaa!

Only 4 Volksies and all locals...man I thought with all the action on this site we would have heaps of Volksies this year.
Too much time on the internet arguing about some crap trophy.
I'm going down to the shed to sulk.
