Love it Matt. Hope I see one run : who needs all that
thunderous noise (ok I suppose me for one).
If you see any Hydrogen Powered drag cars please do
post.

theres a diesel dragter over in the states that runs 7's and also one of the leading IHRA Alcohol Funnycars runs Ethanol instead of Methanol but also a corn based oil for the engine! Bring on the alternative fuels!

If it 60 foots like our old Taylor-Dunn work cart,
then I want one!
I remember a Mazda RX7 from the early ninetys
that ran low elevens at a similarly slow 100mph.
I saw it in FF&R mag I think.
By slow I mean for the ET.
I think it has something to do with the flat
torque or HP levels. Maximum power from zero rpm.

Also handy for jump starting others in the pits!

if im correct those electric motors produce maximum torque at stall, so its just a matter of how much current you have availiable. Hasving maximum torque way down in the rpm range wouldnt help once your spinning way down the track. Now hook it up to CVT gearbox and an electronic controller to ramp in the ratio..... I wonder how weird it is watching this silent thing wizz down the race track?
