how do they effect gas velocity? being so big and all...
Corner head studs are 12mm thread with a 17mm spanner size.
Just got a digi camera so hope to get some other photos soon of the "zorst" ports and other stuff.
Large cross sectional area does tend to move the power up in the RPM range, but with correct tuning and on an engine of this size, the air speed
causes no problem.
Infact, a Ford Cleveland port is twice as big.

Here is a photo of a spare casting that I keep in my bedroom.
This is the cheapest way to buy the heads from Pauter. They are roughed out on the CNC macine and need
seats, guides, and finishing with hand work in the ports and chambers, which I do myself.
The ones I have that are finished, are on the engine but I will get some more photos soon.
Thats pretty serious clobber.

Half a CHEV! :jesus
This is the exhaust port on the engine I am currently assembling.
These chambers are from the same head.
Oooooeeerrrr! Thats beautiful!
Tis truly wonderful to see this level of work being done.
Especially when most ppl at this level of performance keep it all to themselves!
More power to you Dangerous Dave..
After doing more improvements to the inlet port, and using the $193 camera better.
help, I lost a contact down there, got sucked in!!!!
