ok heres the deal, i have just been in contact with a fella that used to be very heavily involved in drag racing in the usa.

He moved here (QLD) and brought tons of parts with him. now he is gettign on in years and to cut a very long story short the wife has told him to clear out his stuff...

How a friend of a friend was offerd the stuff and he directed him to me, there are all sorts of engine parts carbs tools to suit just about anything to do with performace engines. give u an idea he has scat cranks,piston/barrels all brand new carbs of all shapes and sizes a complete engine and gear box for a 356,sets of carbs for said engine.... i could go for hours with what he told me and in his words"thats just the tip of the iceberg"

When i spoke with him he is very keen this stuff goes to a good home(a vw freak) i myself woudl love to grab it all but i think he will be wanting to much money for just me so the reason for this post is to see if anyone is really serious about buying in. I know that no one will do anything till i have a full list of just what is there..

i hope to see him over the weekend and i should have a better idea of how much he wants for the lot and just what is there....

Do you have any con rods standard VW journals?
