I think Morgan and Macca are if the engine is together in time. Not sure if any of the QLD'ers are going or competing.
Rodney's planning on being there with the old car running a new N/A setup, and some new trick bits, Berg Carbs, Vac Pump etc, maybe some fancy
fuel.

Ahh yes but Mr Dangerous is getting into his customary consistant groove of churning out the time dead on his dial ins. That is very hard to beat!!!
And that is how he won the last round.
But it will be good to see some more Volksies as the honda's are gathering some force and we need to bolster the ranks!!!
Be nice to see top 8 in All motor all VW's.....

Yeah, rod knows he cant claim a record, just wants to run fast. It would be pretty difficult to bring that car up to allmotor weight anyway. Should be interesting.
I was thinking of putting my 65 in the Car show, unfortunatle the Vintage car isnt running, so it will give me something to look at now
Just a quick up-date ! Rod Penrose didn't make it , motor problems ( broken camshaft ) Motor racing can be very difficult and frustrating .
Morgan Smith and crew had to pull motor out ,to fix slipping clutch after first pass. Not good news but still having a go!!!
Vw wins allmotor to-night( morgan smith ) .Good one !guys .Morgan race one of the Alcon bro's first round and won .Then someone else race the other
Bro in second round and beat him.
Don't know who he raced in final yet ,but will find out later. Maybe Allmotor championship for the Sydney Smith family .
Nice one Macca and Morgan!!! Got to keep those Honda boys at bay!!! Championship points are looking really good eh!!!
At least it didn't end up like the last round of Sport compact...

Spoke to Macca to-night and they were jumping for joy !!after event. 10 cars raced for Allmotor and they qualifed 5 with a 12.46 /104mph ( 2110cc )
.After changing clutch and burnt flywheel car never faulted 12.49 ,12.50,12.61backing off ,12.51 et's in final . Boys left carb jetting alone from
2332cc motor that broke .
Jamboree in 25,26 August is last round for the year .Boys are leading points ,now.:P
