Whilst I am in the lull of no money to work on my oval, I am trying to keep my appetite for vw drag racing whetted with vids on the net.

What are you favourite/good links to some vw drag racing (youtube or whatever) that can get me through the withdrawal symptoms?

I was hoping the run in the KG would have been enough to keep the smile on your face!

I distinctly remember the first few gear changes were a conservative 4k rpm, didn't take you long before 6k change was happening.

You sure it waan't you who dialled in the 7.5k rpm on the tacho??

(was there a 6k + in there?)

Hehehe....that is why I need a fix of drag racing vids after doing a few 'hot laps' around your suburb in the ghia! I thought I was being conservative shifting at 6K though - I assumed since you had the shift light set at 7.5K that it would be okay for me to at least push it to 6.5K

Was hard to wipe the smile off my dial after that run on the weekend! You now just have to pull your finger out and get it dyno tuned to get a few more ponies out of the 2110.

Al i spent hours on youtube the other night looking at video's. Some are crap but if you dig deep there are some really good ones from the states and UK. There are also a few from Australia as well of Dangerous, Pete Page, Rod Richardson etc etc from test and tunes and Warwick last year as well as Mini Jam etc etc.

Thanks for those vids pete - managed to view them all no probs tonight.

There are some amazing cars/runs in amongst the vids - that red barron is pretty awesome (130mph at the end of the 1/8 is mind blowing!).
