If the feeling out there is common amongst the VW scene,
Craig I think you would be quite chuffed to know
that I have had people visiting and ringing me ,
all very stoked and hyped up about this event.

There is an excited and nervous air of anticipation about this event that I have never seen.

Bring it on!!!

Now what does this mean craig?!

Are there some new exciting debut-cars that are under wraps?

vw54 - September 26th, 2007 at 07:15 AM

I wish we had a Drag Track in Sydney

VWMA Editor - September 26th, 2007 at 07:16 AM

No, not under wraps, just forgot to check the calendar when the 14th September deadline came around. I'm forgiving - it will only cost them my refreshment bill for the weekend.

No he's not bringing it out as they reacon they have no good tyres , bloody sooks

fullnoise - September 26th, 2007 at 09:37 AM

This weekend will be a massive VW fix, if not an overdose.

Coming down from it next week will be difficult.

I'm hitting the F3 from Sydney at about 11 tomorrow. That's nothing though, Adam Debasi is driving from Adelaide again!

CYA there CT

Turbo54 - September 26th, 2007 at 10:37 AM

I believe there is a few Adelaide people coming up for the event.

That's no excuse,
I have some slicks they can use!

It is not a sook if they are afraid? (...yeah it is!:kiss)

Actually it is a shame to 'not run' when the car is sitting there and they have had plenty of time to prepare.

Being afraid is OK, but Warwick would have been the perfect atmosphere to have a first time shot.
Fear is a good sign that they respect the power and unknown.

I will be surpised if we ever see the car run.

Unless of course they plan a big entrance.

Dasdubber - September 26th, 2007 at 12:36 PM

I haven't kept up with the progress, but I gather Keith H (from Picton) won't be racing? I couldn't remember if the Nitrous engine was originally being built for warwick or not.

Can't wait!

RESPECT

what a drive????

Keith Haeusler - September 26th, 2007 at 02:31 PM

Das,

I didn`t finish the car in time unfortunately. But there is always next year!

And ditto Boost`n with the RESPECT for the Adelaide guys/girls making the trip.

Cheers, Keith.

Dasdubber - September 26th, 2007 at 06:22 PM

From what I gather it will just keep growing each year - there are people such as yourself, Nick (boostn), Nick (bond), Alan Herbert (063bug), Troy (lifeinthelowlane's brother), and others who should all be starters next year.

Fingers crossed mine will be done! Just starting to bolt on fanshroud etc now so I'll hopefully fire it up tomorrow if there are no major dramas - nothing like a last minute rush!

Turbo54 - September 26th, 2007 at 06:41 PM

Next Year ;)

Stanley - September 26th, 2007 at 07:23 PM
