Anyone on here installed the CB performance IDF update kit? If so, were there any gains?

reub - i think i saw a kit on samba performance parts put up today that might be considerably cheaper.

hot vw's ran dyno tests with them vs stock IDF combos
maybe 2-3 yrs ago
cant give you an exact issue number at the monet sorry .... 700+ mags on the shelf and not enough hours in the day :)

I've never used them, but I've read good and bad, mainly bad. Generally tuning issues.

Personally, I'd try 38mm venturies, if you think you need more airflow.

i have them on my 44's, they have 38mm venturi's with a spray bar, got them to run on my 2276 with 200 airs, 165 main and 55 idles, now that i have great ignition courtesy of twin coil compufire it runs great, be getting it dyno tuned soon to see what hp i have. heads are stage II 42 x 37.

tuning was not that bad, make sure your linkage setup is good then you should have no problems.
