Wayne is giving his Turbo Orange Oval and run at Eastern Creek Street Drags tonight,
I think he wants to gently break in his new gearbox before Portland.............. yeah right!!:lol:

If you guys want to see one very quick Oval smoke some rice, go and have a look, might just see a sub 10 sec pass?.

Wayne rang me this morning, mostly to tell me the Oval was still in one piece after the night run, and it's packed for Portland.

From memory the following happened, but Wayne will confirm later:

1st run 10.5 low boost
2nd run 10.7 slipping clutch after heating it up on 3rd gear burnout
3rd run 10.5 boost, but driver error
4th run 10.7 gave it heaps but intercooler leak into carbs reduced power. Big launch.
