After keeping it quiet for over two years,
it was on show at Warwick.
Here are my pics.
Engine is supercharged 2830cc with Autocraft case,
and CD heads from Roger Crawford and Anthony Chicca at HeadsUp! performance in the USA.
Awesome workmanship from the crew at CBB.
Trans is Mendeola.
Nice!....Davo was the chassis built here?
The chassis originally came fro Puerto Rico,
but has been comletely re-hashed to meet the Australian ANDRA safety standards,
and the requirments that will meet Mike's intended goals.
sheesh i thought you were taking them pics home for a quiet moment!! that moment didn't last very long LOL
Congrats on the top 8 win too Dangerous. That box you built for 1/8 was superb and worked a treat!!
Not knowing much about drag racing...wat class is this car?
Ok so its a import very nice lots of $$$$s
Superb Car!!
The attention to detail is truly outstanding.
Patience and persistence in bucket loads has already been expended it is easy to see!!

Holy Shit that is cool.
"Blow By Twins"
Love it
It was an awesome effort by and a credit to Mike to have the car there. Likewise Chris Holland and Shane Hobson who also put in some insane hours
finishing the paint and sign writing.
There will be heaps of photos and info soon on the cbb website as the car is readied for racing.
Here's a couple form Thursday night, getting ready for Warwick and getting it on the trailer just hours before we were due to leave.
congrates to the cbb team for putting together such a beautifull car,i can't wait t see how she run's.
i didn't get much of a chance to have a good look over it ,but man it look's great in these photo's.
Insane, the VW drag scene in Aus is going nuts. About bloody time
Hi
This car is amazing, the attention to detail will be hard to top by any race car.
I was lucky enough to be there when he started it, the sound reminded me of the Peter Keegan / Dave Butler days of super charged flat 4s.
You know it has some serious mumbo when you can feel stray exhaust pulses from about 10 metres away, after he switched it off it got a well deserved
round of applause.
Steve
Thanks for the positive comments all.
A real big thanks to Shane Hobson, Darren Hobson, Chris Holland, Dave Stoker, Russell Sarten, Matt Sherwood, Henry Spicak, all the Late shifters and
Dino from Dino'S Pizza for feeding us on all those late nights working on the car.
It was a real joy to have all the Warrick crowd appreciate and comment on the car. Our intention over the next months is to finish the car for some
testing at the Nastalgas at WSID in the coming months.
Hope to see you all at the track.
Regards
Mike
B E A uteiful. love it mike. i think ive seen those chargers before hey dangerous!
Sweet car I love how everywhere you look there are little touches others would not bother with.
I mean who has even seen company logo's in race numbers ... sweet.....
Presentation! wins me all the time.......Best ive seen
Not only is the car race worthy it's show worthy for sure. A credit to the ridiculously long hours you and the boys have put in Mike. Total attention
to detail everywhere you look on the car. It's all the finishing touches on the smallest of things that I noticed as a detailer of show worthy cars
that impresses me the most.
Top work!! Can't wait to see some numbers.....
What is interesting is that even though we were totaly deticated to help Mike achieve his dream, when we were going home anywhere between 2,3 and 5am
he would leave at 6 go home kiss the wife and kids, then gor back to the shop and put a full days work, and this was happening for up to 4 to 5 weeks
leading up to Warrick.
The most support was from his family, onya Jackie.
And to be involved in such a project was a total privilege and an honour.
Thanks Mike
Yes projects like this eg. is worth keeping your wife for no doubt...i know that

Sorry Jeff did not mean to upset any one.
The thanks to the boys was for there unpayed unconditional support in the last few months, above and beyond the normal level one would go too.
Once the car is finished and the article has been written all the payed help such as yourself will be given due credit.
When you get a chance we need to catch up to discuss some things that need to be fixed.
Regards
Mike
CAR LOOKS AWSOME
IT LOOKS EVEN BETTER IN THE FLESH
CANT WAIT TO SEE IT RUN
UNBELEIVABLE JOB MIKE

so what has happened with this car? I remember it being featured in one of the VW magazines but haven't heard or seen anything more since. Let get some more details on the bullet you are using. Beautiful race car guys!
been to a few more events since then, has had some standard teething issues but now is running nice and strong, now up to mike and the car to get properly acquainted and work together for some good times, warwick this yr showed how well engineered this thing is, launching hard, flat and straight, with even it lifting the front wheels during one of the burnouts.... still getting sorted but getting quicker at each meeting.... anyone got any times on hand for warwick (butler maybe :smilegrin? i lent out my vwma mag to a mate... lol and most recent meeting was at the nostalgias at WSID in sydney, but due to some battery gremlins both the ghia and darrens CBB bug didnt get to do much on the day.
7.32 @ 102.74mph at Warwick
Gees Adam you know more about whats going on than I do.
