Yep! 2008 vw warwick dvd from Dak-A-tak racing (Lisa Page ) is all finished. Done by ENTHUSIASTS . 2 disc set covering the hole week-end .Over 2hours of footage .
Craig Hughes has a box full with him at Day of the Volkswagen this week-end in Victoria and I will be taking sum to Gold Coast vw show this week-end as well .

Thanks All !! those comments and people that have bought one . The hours that LISA puts in, is huge and very draining as well when you still go to work and then family stuff ,then sit at computer for all hours .
She likes doing as it's a big challenge for computer and arty skills ,plus a way that competitors can she there own cars in action instead of just a picture that doesn't move and no sound .
We don't make any money on doing these dvd's when you add up all cost ( hours to film / make it , going there ,staying there ,camera stuff, computer programs , Dvd's ,case's, printing colour pac's ,ect )
So if people don't support what other's do in the vw scene it will all go away !! vw magazine , vw events , shops , clubs ,photo seller , ect and lisa doing her bit !
We are seeing this big TIME AT THE MOMENT in the events scene ! Gold Coast turnout and Flat Four Shoot Out .

Well , who has watch there Warwick dvd ? I would like some feed back please .
Has everyones played fine becouse we change to verbatim disc and have found a few dud one's ,so just checking .

Mine worked fine Pete - great job done by Lisa. It would be virtually impossible to do and I would imagine extremely time consuming and logistically difficult, but if I was to have a wish list it would be to flash up the ET for each car either before it races (whilst lining up in the staging lane), or at the end of the run as they pass the line......like I said I know it would not be easy.

Alternatively somehow getting a clearer recording on the announcer as you can't hear the ET/speed he reads out. Not a criticism mind you, just a suggestion/feedback as requested.

Thanks Al for feed back ! Yes in a perfect world ! As people know this is a hobby project for Lisa ,so some things to do cost money .
The other warwick dvd does flash up et for each car but i think it's too much for every run and at times , was wrong . ( finals would be nice) .Those people do it as a businness and charged a lot of money to do and more that I can't talk about .
Lisa has left some runs long at finish so you can listen for times ( yes warwick track needs sum upgrades ) but they are a club base run track so upgrades take time . If Lisa was filming at Willowbank that would comes easy becouse of big readout boards at finish line .
The dvd is about the event and people enjoying them selfs , so she isn't trying to show every run becouse of dvd space , keeping the footage interesting , and keeping product cost down becouse the dvd price is low .Australian vw scene isn't big enough to do a super pro style dvd here .
Next year she will be doing things alittle different so put your smile-ing face on .

If you do want times etc Craig did a great job listing every car that ran over the weekend in the issue of VWMA that coverd Warwick.

All good Pete, I was stoked with the vid and impressed with how well it turned out, was just a suggestion - maybe just for finals would be good and easier to compile results.

Was just some feedback I got from a fellow veedub stalwart from NSW who stayed with me the other night (not having attended the event) and watched the DVD with me!

Keep up the great work, not many others would put up their hands to do this sort of thing if it wasn't for Lisa....I know I wouldn't have the time (or ability!)

I watched the DVD last night. Great too see everyone's car run inlcuding my own.(Geez my car looks slow LOL)

i was wondering if any of the DVD's would be making their way to Dubs's by the humble pie pub in Feb? if so id love to pick one up
