just been down to see westi @ the shop.
haven't been down to do any work on the junka as i've been heaps busy with work
westi hasnt touched her either for the same reason.
i'm thinking about motor options for my bug,
westi said he'll sell me the junka's motor for my beetle,
and to make him an offer.
as he's a mate & we help each other out so much
with every car we build i dont want to insult or take advantage.
so what do you guys rekon might be a reasonable kind of figure to offer for the junkas powerplant

Have to be 10G just in the parts,
not to mention all westi's custom fab and machine work.

Just as a comparison,
I think Mick motoers is selling a turn key Scat 2180 for just under 10g.
And that prob makes 50 hp less than westi's.

The scat motor's at micks are $7700, asked them the other day.

I heard he's going over to the dark side and another class .
Motor price is between the 2 of you !Pay what you are happy with .

One thing is for sure,
it wont be a type 4.

Westi needs to be faster not slower.

You type four blokes always claim huge torque figures.
If you get a type one of the same capacity you can have torque AND hp.
