I see that both Rodney and Fabian have entered for this event.(this week end!)
Both in All Motor.
I gather that Rodney will have to remove the nitrous,
and this will be Fabian's first trip down the 1/4 mile?!
Who is going to check it out?
yep Me, Boris n Wayne will be crewing for Rodney and Fabian if he needs a hand
I see theres some water cooled cars entering but dont no if they have the numbers
Boxie says they need 20 to run ???
Not Me ! T4 still broken ,as gearbox parts haven't arrived from germany
yet .So no tow car and funds will be low after paying for it .
Looks to be a good event if you look at entries and all so the v8 pro streeters are running as well .
Hope the weather stays good ( showers coming ) and hope to here how everyone goes .
Cheers Dak-A-Tak racing
suspost to be 28 or so degrees on sunday
wont hold my breath
the web site says 193 entries but who knows on the day
I spoke to one of the Alcorn brothers last night who run an early/mid 80's civic with K20 honda power (integra type s 2.0L) and he said there was a
14/15 car field. He did ask me about the Volksy's entered and I asked for names but the only one he knew was Rodney.
Apparantly the 20BPP powered RX3? tube car "sherriff" is on the entry list. From what he was saying it is light and has run low 10's already.
Good luck to Rod and Fabian!!
I'm flying down on sat. only to watch and the missus is commentateing.

Made the trip up this morning to WSID,
Fabes was a no show due to some carby problems that they couldn't sort out in time, Rod was the only Aircooler there, he ran an 11.? and 11.8 @116,
In true WSID form, it was stinking hot and there were long waits to see the all motor guys run, there were some very fast street registered normally
asperated V8's running 8's one had a 10 Litre + engine,
This photo sums up the day.......geez it was hot!
yes a LLOOOOOOOOOOOOOnnnnnnnnnnGGGGGGGG day we even had time for a sleep between runs
Rod ran a best of 11.1 had some bog down problems
but still a great day
It was great to see Rod's car in the All Motor class. Hopefully he will come and play with us some more.

It was a great days racing and very close and hard fought as usual. The track was good, the weather was great, and it was on time by the end of the
day even though it started 1 hour late due to water in the breaking area.
We hope to be at Jambo if funds permit.
Talked to the Alcorn boys tonight and they were pleased to get the win.(as you would). Would be nice to see some of these Sydney cars we hear so much about make the trek up here for Jambo.
