For at least the last 15 years the capacity limit has been 166 ci =2719cc.

If someone lives near by, it may be worth checking he head stud spacing to see if it is a 'large bore' spacing.

No pumps in picture but if they are in good shape it may be worth a look.

That is quite reasonable if it has no windows.
Even when you factor in a new crank and pistons in a rebuild.

You could not build that engine new for 30G.

no doubt its all good stuff, i used to watch these speed cars and many were doin 9-10k rpm, would be a lot of fatigue on a motor if its workin that hard over time
