Layback ! welcome mate , don't mind above comments . We have a good range of drag cars here but we are very wide spread throught out Australia ( Big Island ) . Warwick vw drag day is our biggest event here ( http://www.vwma.net.au  ) for vw's . Helled in Queensland at Warwick a 2hour drive inland from Brisbane . You will see most of Australia's vw drag racer's at this one ( October 3rd , 4th ).
Cars are getting more pro like every year ! We have low 11sec all-motor cars to blown , nitrous , Turbo ProMod chassis cars to . Names to look for , Dangerous Dave Butler , Mike Kristen , Rod Penrose ,Dave Stoker ,Nick Economou , Michael Adi , Micheal Nash , Adam Debiasi , Peter Page ( http://www.dak-a-takracing.com.au )and a few more .

this thread is a crack up! but the most brilliant part is the 2nd photo in the batch of pics of westi's car, Boris in the background!! hahaha always seems to be pushing that thing lately.... no disrespect intended and hopefully the new gearbox and clutch setup will bring him better luck at warwick this year.
