I like homemade speed parts i've got a couple of pair of modified single port heads but these welded 40 hp heads are pretty cool.they have a 2inch intake port!Any body got any other cool homemade speed parts?(First attempt at posting a photo sorry if it don't work)
obviously it didn't work
The ports we so large they had enough gravity to draw back the reflected light and appear "invisable".
again
3rd time

gee dave were have i seen that car before!!!!
Hey Col,
I have those rods of Leons at my house. I'll drop them back to him if you want to have a look.
any idea how much u want for them?they look expensive and this is just going to be a shit stiring engine that probally won't last to long its gonna run a pretty heavy load of nitro
hey butler how much 4 the cup cakes yum yum
Just a thought on the single port heads.
I thought I read somewhere that the inlet manifold was somewhat restricted in size to avoid loss of manifold vacume resulting in the fuel dropping out
when the throttle was opened. Is that likely to be the case here?
Newt
If it is nitro then it will probably be more liquid than air (not really but way higher than usual) and the engine sounds like the beginning of the burnout will be the end of its life ... Hey Col can we take bets on how long it will hold together?
Before I place a bet, who's driving this thing???

if mattys driving everything is at risk!.no burn outs for this cat i've got traction baby!I'll start another thread when i get all the main parts,as for how long it will last we'll see but a well tuned nitro engine is awesome if it don't have a blower(A/FD) the one i crewed on set the world record by .2 sec in the early 90's and all we did was change the plugs adjust the valves and go back out and back it up!In saying that we could blow it up on start up the burn out you name it we did it but in the end it was very reliable and i can ask the brains trust in the states for all the tune up details they will get a good laugh out of it!
Col, ask Leon what he wants for them.(maybe not a lot of $) They came with the crank in his trike but he used steel rods. I put them on Samba ages ago for him but couldn't sell them. Can't remember what journal size.
They are 2" journal by 6" long.
Dear Dave...you have won me with those homemade cakes (fancier than your crank )!!.....
Could you make a handful for Warwick so "Rocketman Rod" has some pie altenatives..We
need to get him fat to get a startline advantage over him.If I bring my micro wave could
you make my crew morning tea ?Thanks Ross.
Ross Dangerous makes the best muffins ever seen at a race track or just about anywhere else for that matter.......
