Lexan Window Kits
VWFREAK - June 23rd, 2009 at 07:46 PM

I'm after a Lexan Window Kit for my 56 Rag Top Beetle, so I'm after a little info on where you got yours and what you paid etc.

Any Australian suppliers ?

What have you used as an alternate product ?

Currently looking at the Cal Look window kit, because it requires no drilling and uses stock rubbers etc (looks road legal).

Any advice is appreciated.

Thanks for the info and the leads on manufactures. I've found kits in the states for around $650-700AUD landed. So I'm now looking to go with my initial thoughts and make them myself.

Thanks again

just take your windows to any plastic supply company and they can cut them to shape- were i get it done in adelaide they even bend the rear window to make fitting easy- it cost less than $200

too true...just cut the rear sides slightly smaller than stock so they don't bow.
