Reub , if you race it , to me more the better (motor make does'nt matter ) . Andra covered cars first becouse they are a real drag car ,but Rego cars like Rods (48ida) fit becouse they run 12.99 or quicker so you could enter a ANDRA meeting .
Imagine a race meeting with all comers from around Australia ( Vw Drag Nationals )
Daimo ! how fast was your bug , I could work out about over quarter mile . Mate get to work on that other bug or Type 3 might make it .

mike waldron will also be driving his beetle N/A by next yr as well as dave stoker's, well as long as time and money permits. we're basically down to little fiddlies and paint.

Also i dont know if this counts, as it probably wont get ito the 12's till early next year, its a build in progress with intention of drag racing, but my car will be at warwick this yr with a few little developments and then hopefully at portland with many more

VW54: There are two Mike Clarke's . Red Back racing in SA. And Sauron from this site.

Red Back Used to race against the hot4 back aournd 2000 at AIR. Not sure if it was autocraft powered, or just a set of autocraft heads.

When you start reading the list , there alot more cars then you think. Australia vw (drag) scene is booming , look at numbers of new cars and old racers steeping up ( me , freestone , trent , stocker, kristen and other) . Can't wait for Warwick this year !
