I heard that Vintage vw has their black car entered

I can confirm that there was racing there today, my son's soccer game was only a few kms from the track and you could hear them loud and clear, even over the abusive parents.

The Vintage car had 4 runs we were playing with fuel

Wouldnt start for the last run and it was nearly dark

Top fuelers were a BLAST

from memory best time was 11.3 at 130

thats getting some good speed!

What about the wondering or handling of car .Is it all fixed . Was a bit scary watching it at Warwick last year .

yeah its good to have a picnic on the rear wing LOL

very COOL day with no rubber on the track see what i mean by the MAZDA doing a burn out and a sharp LEFT turn into the start line wall started to get a little tackie later in the day

We had to warm up with fushnchups on the WHALE tail NO sushie there for sure

we had 4 runs and for the first 3 we got to the start line only to be held up by some failure on the track
1 oil down
one too many bits to pick up
and one broken down JAP car having to be towed off the track

the 4th run we line up n actually went off after the previous car

Any way a great day of Test n tune we played HEAPS with fuel

ended up with 80 percent more fuel that we had in previously computors who needs them

Car launched to the left due to NO traction or lack of what is normally there as can be seen by the blue mazda into the start line wall

best time was 11.3 at 130mph

we need bigger injectors simple

Dave has forwarded in some top secret run sheets.

Best 60 foot time was 1.57
Best 1/8 mile was 7.49 and 98.56mph on another 7.50 run.
Best speed on the 11.36 run was 130.28, but it also ran 128.75 on an earlier 11.38 run.

Looks like things are really progressing forward there Dave.
