For those that do more than RWYB events - what drag classes don you run in, against what kind of opposition, and where are they run? Heads up or bracket?
Hi Chunks,
most of our classes these days are bracket events.
In the past we has 'super stock', which was raced against an index or class record,
but VWs gave been pushed out with weight breaks that are not really acheivable.
dd/gas(or what ever it is called now days), is the only class that will fit a volksy,
but you would have to be running low 8s/high 7's to even qualify.
The bracket classes at normal ("V8 Events") events are called 'super street' for times slower than 10.99,
and 'super sedan' for cars quicker than 10.99.
"All Motor" was supposed to be a 'heads up" racing class,(1750lbs, and then recently reduced 1700 lbs min weight for VWs)
but it was changed to a bracket racing class to increase numbers.
