This is a very old video, but none the less a great bit of footage on old 8mm of Stan Pobjoy on his VW supercharged drag bike going down the 1/4.
Footage is from 1970 to 1978 and unfortunately there is no sound of the bike, only a sound track. But you get the idea.

Great vidoes.
I never saw Stan run but I remember all the fast cars used to smoke the tyres for most of the track, that's why VWs had such an advantage until tyre
technology caught up.
