Some serious machinery there. I guess some people would do anything to win.

ttriebler - May 8th, 2010 at 10:05 AM

innocent until proven guilty anyone?

SuperOwen - May 9th, 2010 at 03:36 PM

Crime was obviously paying pretty well for brett, some serious $$$ spent there!!!! I wonder how much his JD sponsership was actually worth.

ttriebler - May 9th, 2010 at 04:48 PM

Crime is only crime once there's a guilty verdict. He may have inherited a million dollars for all you know or he was actually a good marketer. He knew how to brand stuff and put on a show that's for sure. You don't get that many sponsors on board without a bit of effort.

I'm not defending the guy, just the process that underpins our system. When the truth comes out that's when you get your chance to slam people....or not....

Dak-A-Tak - May 9th, 2010 at 10:01 PM

Yes in many people eye's , he was a super hero !! , He did a lot of good for sick kids , our sport of drag racing and other things but for years , the storys where there about him . Storys take awhile to come true .
No sponsor ship , or race car building shop or his trucking company could pay for all he had .No one is slamming him but just think about the familys and people that drugs effect .
Cops would not auction his cars , trucks , equipment if they weren't profit of crime .

waltermitty - May 10th, 2010 at 08:31 AM

What Dak said and I am also sure that theyare only on sale after a quilty verdict has been mad.

dcuplover - May 30th, 2010 at 04:05 PM

the story mentions they are selling the vehicles because they have no place to keep them in the condition they were seized in. The sale happens without a guilty/innocent finding. The owner was okay with the sales since he had the items for sale prior to the bust.

Dak-A-Tak - May 30th, 2010 at 07:33 PM

He had them up forsale becouse it was getting very ,very ,very hot ! He is doging out on many !now
