Henry congrats mate!
Runner up at the Day Of The Drags 2010.
Hope you enjoyed the day and the bucket of coin...
We certainly enjoyed you being there and putting on an awesome show.
Sadly, the 3 other veedubs all went home on the trailers.
Congrats Henry! Great News
And a very pleasant character
Well done Henry
Thanks everyone - especially Hot Rod Matt
it's good to get to the pointy end of a meeting for a change. The car is teasing me as it ran close on the dial in (12.35) for most runs but
occasionally reminded me of who is the real master. Thankfully, I got away with those runs
Peter P, I ran enough red lights to last you a full season - maybe 2 !!!!
I had 8 runs (which is normally 2 meetings worth) and with the way the car is launching, my front tyres will last a very, very long time.
More clutch work still needs to be done as it still double dips the launch
Toward the end of the day, the track was getting cold and so slippery that I was havings thoughts of forfeiting the round (I'm not that brave) and
towards the final rounds, even with fan housing oil cooler etc., the engine oil temp was getting above my comfort zone
I have yet to work out how Macca can push my car through the staging lanes whilst still riding his trusty bicycle (thanks heaps Macca!!!)
It's good to run "in the big sea" with V8's all around you and still remain competitive
Nice work
Nice work H's, it seems you swan well, maybe its about masters and aprentaces. Good to see you held the VW flag high......."RESPECT"
More pics during the week. I'm beat after a big day.
It takes a lot of work to get an event like this running year after year, but it is the racers who make the day.
It was great to see the veedub flug being flown by Morgan and Ben (despite the breakages). Sharon Boskovich was also running her bug, but it succumbed
to the abuse the transmission (I think) was getting after 5 or so passes.
Good work Henry!
Great photo Matt.....and congratulations on a fantastic result Henry.
Al

Nice pictures Matt.
Love the "Funderbolt".
That front suspension is amazing.
Amazing that it works, and amazing that ANDRA would let something so flexible to run!!
great stuff!
and what a clean looking car !!!!!!!!!!!!
unreal
I finally met Henry (the legend) to-day at the Nationals, as well as a few others that I haven't seen for a while. Nice to catch up, and thanks to
those who showed some concern for my well-being after the big 'roll-over' yesterday.
Good work Eric Worner - he's a mate of mine - in the So-Cal. We won't hear the end of this - ZERO re-action time! It must be a mistake,HA,HA.
Cheers, Greg
Congratulations Henry! Thanks for the pics Matt, sounds and looks like it was a great day.
Next one ! will be a win Henry . What happened to the others vw's ?
Pete
Although I was concentrating on my own world on race day, I believe that Morgan broke an engine, Ben broke an axle and Sharon Boskovich broke an
axle
I won't post too much (boring) info on the runs but
