I figured it might be worthwhile starting a new thread with the vids and or pics from Warwick.
I haven't had time to upload any vids other than Ben Ford's unfortunate crash below. I always forget how long it takes to upload to youtube so will
endeavour to get more up during this week.

that is just awesome
We are home safe.
I had a great week end drag racing I did my best time yesterday ever in Buz and broke out with a 10.007 sec pass I was happy. I reacon if I pull the
seats out and have a better reaction time I will get it into the 9's there's always next time.
I had heaps and heaps of fun I managed in between the rain on Sat to get in 9 passes one I was run was fun with no traction even with road tyres I did
a 13sec pass spin in first than second so the guys that had slicks man they must have huge balls to go out there and have a go.
And seven passes on Sun.
Thanks to all the organisers for another terrific weekend of Drag Racing well done.
Does anyone have the video of Wayne from Vintage going over the finish line backwards I missed it???

Here are some pics I have. The boys took them so if your car is missing it isn't on purpose.

oh yeh
also:
as i wasnt there which sucked
can anyone put up who ran what times & mile/hour etc
cheers
WOW what a weekend
i dont even know how to feel about it
i had been working 16 hour days for the last week just to make it there spedt all my money
and only got two runs on sat which was not real fast but better then none
as soon as i hit 4K the darn thing would die and got worse
did the water pump in and stripped a thread
fixed them but with no coolent was going to try and see if i would run in the aircooled class LMAO
then i couldn't rev the dam thing at idle
before i left i new there was a prob but it would rev at idle but had none at load was hopeing that i could sort it up there anyways
meet some cool people and seen some cool cars
i took of sunday lunch time to to get home before dark as i had to work today and was trying to beat the rain home
anyways i have heaps of time to get the buggy ready for next year hey did anyone get a pic of my silver buggy with an l18 ? as a friend has asked me
for one and never took any
Awesome pics Marcus and vids Al. I was next to run after Wayne Fenech so had a birds eye view. It looked way worse where I was.
For the record my car ran a PB of 7.77 @ 88mph. It's broke but i'm stoked.....
Can I also add a special thanks to Daimo for the bits he sent, Henry for his words of wisdom and offer to test my MSD and to all the other guys who I
spoke with and raced. Rod how about a discount on some forged 87mm pistons
Also to Craig from VWMA and the track guys at Warwick who did a great job in trying to keep a track raceable under very trying conditions.
and to the Warwick police......please use my $200 wisely.....
hey stanley, what happened, pistons again??? Did you buy a ticket to the policemens ball at the driver drink stop on the highway in the 60kph zone, i got a pb mph at 88.5
I had to drive it off the trailer so my lovely wife of 25 years the weekend just passed, doesn't think she is still a shed widow.
However when it arived in the shed I had vapour coming out of the breather so i'd say I am in need of new pistons. Was anyone surprised. Time for
some forged or SR20 pistons.
and I made a donation Sunday morning after coming over the range and finding it was sunny. Worse thing was there were signs saying "Police radars
patrol this area". I can now tell you it's not false advertising......

Great pics everyone.
Well what a weekend.
Thanks to Craig and Warwick Dragway;
After a huge push to get Tony's engine built in his mat black Manx and the Hillbilly Racer back for another reincarnation, we made it Saturday
morning, a day later than planned. Both cars ran well all weekend, here's a sample composition vid from a mate that was at the track Sat. The last
shot is Tony's manx that had the new engine built this last week and fitted thursday for initial start/break-in, and now it's run in . The 2276 ran strong all weekend with consistant low 8's at over
80mph.
