Titanium tube
RodPenrose - March 22nd, 2011 at 04:47 PM

I am having trouble trying to find some titanium tube for some wheelie bars for my new car . I am looking for some 1/2" , 3/4" and 1" tube with a .065 wall . This can be ordered from the US , however I would like to source some locally if it is available , If anyone has any of this laying around doing nothing or any help or leads would be good , thanks ROD , 02-42729920 .

Luke, no you are not allowed to steal old Beryl's new hip replacement titatium femur for Rod's wheelie bars.....although I'm sure Rod wouldn't mind some medical grade titanium to work with!

We use titanium tubes in some of our heat exchangers at work - 3/4" diam but not sure what wall thickness. Only reason I mention this is to suggest google heat exchanger tube suppliers and try that angle ?
