since getting back from portland
we thought we should get started
heads are coming off tonight for a bit of a freshen up
and a few other bits and peices i'll post pics and keep you posted

pistons and barrells look ok (ye ha)


manifolds are gunna get a litlle tickle up



on inspection of heads we've pushed out a couple of seats (spewing)




so valves are out and now cutting out the old seats new ones to go in, new valve springs,retainers etc
seating pressures will be increased as we realised now we were'nt running enough
more updates later

always good to watch

after cutting the old valve seats out we think the old heads have run their race
so we've admitted defeat and got some new heads


the porting will start tomorrow , i'll post pics of the ports when they're done

pete , actually picked them up from mr penrose on monday we'll i didnt brad did
we're actually trying to get a hold of some valve covers
apart from buying some direct from autocraft or making some ourselves any ideas guys

rocker gear , valve springs, titanium valves etc etc


just like everthing else with the junka nothing can go on the car straight off the shelf!!!
so the manifolds have been cut open for a little work.
the heads are being machined so we can get the comp up to what we need 15 or 16 to 1


more updates as we go still a shitload to do and so little time to warwick we better get cracking
