We took the Vintage drag car out to " Full Throttle Friday " last night at Sydney Dragway for a few test and tune runs down the 1/4 mile
strip
We had 6 runs with problems what so ever
the car went car hard and straight down the track on a well prepared track ( unlike Warwick where every one was skating about )
Wayne Fenech ran 6 very consistent runs all with in with 2 MPH
the best 1/4 mile ET of the night was a 10.34 with the best MPH 131
Best 1/8 mile ET was 6.5 with the best MPH 105
A great night at the Track
the next step in tunning will be an upgrade in tyre size from 26 to 30 inch and an upping of the Boost from 18psi to 20psi
Bring on VMA Drag series in February
sounds like you guys had a great night drag racing some good times there.
wish I was there.
Yeah Rose it was top night no breakages the weather was just right not too hot
just some fuel management adjustments between runs
Great to hear Dave.
Bet Wayne's happy with those numbers and running straight is definately best
Good work guys!
Your best times ever by a large margin!!
Have you had a chance to weight the car and driver?
http://www.cacklingpipesphotography.com/111021_sd_ftf_1.htm
28" tyre is all you should need.
Red baron actually has run 7's on the 1/4 with 26" x 10" wide.
We will weigh the car BUt not the driver hehehehehe
Great pic's
Dave, did you say Wayne's on a diet?
Wayne does not need to be any lighter, that is what a waste gate is for.
