I just got a text from Col, seems he's been out at Pillowbank Raceway and after driving there he ran a 13.59 @ 97 mph with muffler, air cleaners and
fanbelt.

Engine is 2332 that's been around for quite some time. We've been optimising it lately after a cam change earlier this year. We changed from a FK 87
to a smaller GB 310. It has ported 040 heads unwelded 44 x 38, mag welded case, 48 IDA's on tall manifolds, 1 5/8 merged with Supa Flow(?) s/s muff.
Also changed from 009 to 010 dissy and stepped up to 45 vents and a major rejet.
Engine has been reborn, with a beautifully smooth power delivery and silk like driveability. And squeeze that go pedal and she just keeps pulling.
Was 141 rwhp with the FK87 and 37 vents. We feel (hope)around 150 (or more ) at the wheels is closer to the mark now with the new combo.
So far so good Marcus, running consistant 13.5-8 at the moment
Home now, 6 runs and all between 13.57 and 13.99.
And drove home.
ps. 35psi too
Better late than never.Had 6 runs tonite best of 1.849-60,8.54-1/8,13.586-96.25. Drove there with Richie(he's hearing impared now!)didn't open the deck lid still haven't. Air cleaners,fan belt,mufflerand 215/70 Kenda Komets with 35psi.I'm stoked there's alot of improvements to be had I reckon.

Sorted out a p plate commy ute for you frosty but it wasn't that big a deal it had matching mags the fast ones have steelies on the rear I belive,a turbo supra took a pretty big beating and I tried to arrange a run with a vp clubsport with a Tremaine 308 stroked engine combo ran 13.4 @114?wouldn't race me in the vp but his other car a sv6 commy 10psi pullys and a 75shot of gas,cut a great lite and surprise surprise the nitrous didn't "work".And on one launch It left and bogged a little but still got the wheels off the deck!!!
