Well I had 7 runs and I won 5
still getting the hang of the turbo as it bogged down off the start twice and two runs had some side action going off the start but it was heaps of
fun

Turn up the BOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOst
R that link yeah looks good as always
SO, Rose!
What boost WERE you running?
and, what boost did it have when it made 298hp in the land of make-believe?
I would be checking to see if there is one of those little hairdryer gizmos blocking up your exhaust
I don't care how much hp I have as long as I beat heaps of boys
you funny bugger it's never had 298hpno more pics for you
I wish. It's only a 1916 under lid street combo.
on the auto barn boost guage the needle shows between 5 & 8psi
they did dyno it on the engine dyno at the flywheel at 7psi boost on pump gas over in america and it was apparently 153hp
we had it on the dyno to check mixture by running it through all the gears and it did have 90hp at one stage but haven't had a power run so wouldn't
know. It's so easy to drive I would love to put one in my 56.
It's heaps of fun, and even more fun when I beat the SS and the turbo charged VL

Put some race gas in and turn that boost up!
Way to go Rose..... Totally stoked for you.

Pit Report
Roses new combo has done 20 passes over the 1/4 mile
best time was the 13.853. @7psi shifting @5000rpm
The last few runs last night at WSID the motor got a bit fuelie off of the start and a bit of clutch slip shifting to forth.
I think the rancho box and AJ Sims motor has past their test

u made the news page
We went up to the work shop to do a bit of maintenance on a couple of our VWs, getting them ready for racing in 2012.
The Nude Bug clutch was slipping the last few racers changing into top gear.
It looks like it just got a bit hot as it was a stock VW clutch plate.
We changed it to a HD clutch plate.
The 1970 red street Bug that Rose racers at Wakefield Park at the vw nationals clutch started to shudder the other week going to work.
On removing it we found that it looks like someone had did some mods on the clutch plate. some bits had come loose.
It's been it the car since 1990s not bad I guess causes it never driven easy .
Tsome of you drag racers may know why this was done
.only to one side. It dont look stock ?ext
