What have you done with your dash, if anything? there are so many ways to customise/personalise a Beetles dash out there. Buying off the shelf inserts with gauge holes pre cut to full custom jobs, shit, standard looks awesome which made me think about this after installing the gauges in mine (which while a test fit are growing on me) For such a small area to work with there is so much room for expression
No guages, just heaps of stuff... even more since my recent roadtrip
Just what you need; music, chewy, sunnies, tacho, USB, fuel additive, fridge magnets, and my daughter's teddy bear.

Love the seat height adjuster on no 8 Greg.

Mine is a little bit less standard
Love em all!!! Greg, you could go and sit in any one of those cars in your garage and look out the Windscreen or window and drool at what you can see

Yeah I get alot of grief about the steering wheel, it came with the steering column and was supposed to be temporary. Years later I still have it because it is the right size offset and is great to hold onto when the going gets rough. I suppose I should cut out the center and glue a VW badge there. In it's next incarnation the Baja will have power steering, maybe I will change it then.
Finished mine this morning...
Don't forget the shift light!
PoohBaja dash
Not quite a picture of my dash - but hope to have these attached to it sometime soon. Other than the oil temp gauge all are period pieces -yet to be
tested but hopefully they work.
Keep the photos coming of the dashboards - always enjoy seeing how others have customised their rides.
My '59 streeter and '70 baja
We used two dashes, cut & welded then made a mould and finally had re skinned. Did this in 1995. Still looks great.
Somewhat similar to mine that I did in 2005. I re-did the gauge pod in sheet metal, then had the whole lot re-covered.
my 1303 dash and my old 1302 dash
1303 dash has combined tacho and speedo, led warning light strip
Here's mine from my Bus
