Ok, i should keep these kinda mods to my japanese car, but i get so tempted.
I'm looking at redoing the door trims in the 64 bug. was thinking at first to do polished wood, but have since changed my mind, and am thinking a
fake wood finish atop a reasonably tough perspex sheet in which cold cathodes would light the insides at night, and kinda give a lit effect at the
base glass shining up.
also the rear seat is to be converted to a single seater and the amps and 6" woofers are to be set on the '1st' and '3rd' original seat places.
so only the '2nd' seat place remains. and same deal as the door trims....
I dunno sounds abit over the top and ricey, but I love that kinda stuff...... what you all reckon?
yes it is rice now go away and buy a fooolly siik Silvia:P
must admit i do like the ufo glow of leds, on choppers and rodz ,if done properly ,doesnt have to be ricey
it'd definately be done properly, i dont like things half done. tho i do tolerate it, it never stays that way long.
I already have my rice mobile, my classic hot rod and my all off-road 4x4.
the bug i just like, so it doesnt exactly have a place except to be my daily driver.
the plan is body of a rat, interior of comfort and sound, and engine to use as lil fuel as possible.
makes a decent daily driver imo.
man change your prioritys, daily driver first, hotrod second, 4x4 then ricer
Who really cares if it rice or not 53racer? Its your car and if you want to do it then go for it! Your VW should be an expression of YOUR personality not a reflection of what others think is cool, otherwise it makes being involved in the VW scene pretty boring if they all look the same!
I have seen woodern style trims on euro cars too.
neons and subs and crap arent ricey, cause the ricer cars neva come with em stock, I htink :S well most anyways. it just so happens most ricer owners
take the opportunity to put em in. be different from the crowd, who cares, if it looks good, then GO fOr it MATE!!!
whats ur 4x4 like?
Sounds like custom to me, not rice. Go for it. I'd like to see that rear seat setup when done.
