Hello Guys,

We are slowly doing up our bug and are after a few bits and i am trying to find out how easy is it to gte a few parts. We are after the following:

1. a white steering wheels, i thnk they are pre 69
2. the low back seats
3. a gear shifter from a pre 69

Are these parts easy to come by and what would be the price range for them? Also will they fit a 74 fairly easy?

ur gonna need to do some modding for all 3 of those

except maybe they seats, depending on when in 74 ur car was built
if its b4 about oct/nov u will need some 71 lowbacks
theyre the only ones that are lowbacks and have T rails
everything b4 has L rails and every after are high backs
but if ur bug is after november then it will have 3 point runners which throws another spanner in the works

2 spoke steering wheel wont fit with 74 shaft and also the spokes hit the wiper switch

and to fit a 6volt gearstick u will need to either remove the locating pin which will mean it can spin around or remove the shift rod from the car and cut the locating slot into the cup
