Hi All,

I have a 2003 MK 4 Golf GTi that will not sit on a sensible idle speed. Once warm it sits on anywhere from 1100 to 1400 rpm at idle. When cold it can (but not often) sit on around 2000 rpm. I have had it serviced and nothing was found that was obvious. The computer was reset because of a couple of errors but it had no impact on idle speed.

Has anyone had this issue and know of a fix.

Its a minor thing I know but its driving me nuts.
