Is there anyone out there not running the stanard plugs, single electrode model. Been in contact with Bosch Australia and apparently or legally we can only use the WR7CC or other equiv for yr. As fuel ratings and combustion here in australia is insufficent. A certain website makes reference to them as a warranted upgrade to performance(quadModel).
Not talking about heat range.:thumb

i have breen running the 4 prong plugs and would not go back to single prong

Hey Greedy sorry long time busy. Had any probs with detonation or non detonation?? What plug number r u running??? Old mate from Bosch couldnt give me the dirt legal reasons forbid him blah blah...

Took my fairly recently purchased t3 to my mechanic for a look over and he ripped out the the single progned plugs as soon as he saw them and chucked in some 3-pronged ones instead (about $15 each).

don't know the exact reason why, but he seems to know his stuff so i didn't argue.

Yeh sweet it's been a little patchy of late with holiday period n all.
Heya Kombi Kountry do u know the plug numbers i think all t3 owners would appreciate the post for the advance in spark.

ok here are the plugs that murrey and myself are using and have been using for 4-5 years mine are 2 years old and looking great i check them when i do the service

Are u telling me that u have had the same plugs in car for 2 yrs? Are the quad tip plugs ahh what's that shit called, u know???
Otherwise i will get onto some of those real soon.
Wonder if the Beru plugs are better than Bosch???

yep 2 years and still going strong i'll wear out first
murrey changes hisw at every service and he donates them to me as i'm very poor or stingy
serviced for xmas checkede them against a new one perfict and having no problems
havent tryed bosh
